TARANAKI LAND BOARD.
At the last meeting of the Board, the following business affecting King Country settlers was transacted Transfers : P. A. Martin and W. S. Currie to W. S. Currie. —Section 11, Block 9, Ohura. Extension refused: The application of E. O'Malley for twelve months extension of time to reside on Section 14, Block 10, Ohura, was refused. Timber Reserves: Mr E, Tolme, Ranger, reported on Section 15, Block 9, and Sections 17,18,19 and 20, Block 13, Ohura, which had been reserved from sale on account of timber growing thereon.—Reports adopted^ Temporary' Lease : F. Williams applied for a temporary lease of obout four acres of Section 6, Block 11, Aria. —A year to year lease was granted in terms of the Ranger's report. It was decided that Section 6, Block 9, Totoro, should be re-offered under the improved form regulations. It was reported that D. McGurky had failed to comply with the regulations under which he had selected Section 12, Block 2, Aria, and the section will be declared forfeited.
