WAIKATO WINTER SHOW.

The Winter Show, which is to be held at Hamilton on July 3rd to 6th next, is being well supported and promises to be an unqualified success. In addition to the usual sections of pastoral and agricultural products and other iddustries, aspecial feature of interest to the King Counter people, is the Court of Maori Induct:".es. The classes open are eight m r.u.v-ser and include prizes for Kiel ie h.ils, i-Lin and fancy kits, h£nd-c.resfcd ilax, carved walking sticks end pipes, and Maori baskets, mats, and curios of all descriptions. Special care will be taken of all exhibits and those who possess curios of value need have no hesitation in sending their treasures for exhibition. Should the owner wish to sell, the article can be priced and the Secretary will give delivery in all cases after the Show. Maori exhibits are always prized, and form a special attraction to any exhibition. It is to be hoped that King Country Maoris will be induced to support the Show in this respect. Many interests bind the King Country to the Waikato, and in the first representative Winter Show in the district, it would be only fitting that the Maniapoto Natives should lend their assistance towards making the function specially attractive in the matter of Maori industries and curios.
