TE KUITI SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I am informed that the first month's meeting of the Te Kuiti School Committee could not be held on account of the necessary number not being in attendance to form a quorum. This is a most deplorable state of things, and shows a sad lack of interest on the part of those who have undertaken the duty of attending to school matters in the place. I trust you will use your influence in working up more interest in connection with the school, as it means a greet deal to both parents and children.—l am, etc., A MOTHER.
