TE KUITI.
The annual meeting of householders was held in the school house on Monday evening last, for the purpose of receiving the report of the outgoing committee, and electing a new one. The following were elected as members of the new committee : —Messrs Ormsby (chairman), Seymour, Plier, Sims, Rountree, Mordaunt, and Coggins. The new committee held their first meeting after the householders meeting. The head teacher submitted a report of various matters in connection with the school, which required the attention of the Committee. It was resolved to request the Board of Education to enlarge the shelter shed; to construct a new approach to the school building, and to paint the interior of the school. Sub-committees were appointed to attend to the matter of cleaning the school, and to the clearing and grassing of the new school paddock. The monthly meetings were fixed for the first Tuesday in each month, at 8 p.m., in Mr Sim's boarding house.
