Mr R. C. Jordan, of Tauranga, has been on a visit to Te Kuiti during the week.

Sir Robert Stout, Chief Justice, is expected to arrive at Te I Kuiti on Monday, to open the sitting of the Native Land Commission. Mr Duncan, Inspector of stock for the Auckland District, accompanied by Mr Alexander, Stock Inspector for the King Country, paid a visit to Te Kuiti on Friday last. Messrs Beauchamp (Chairman _of Directors), Watson, Milne, and Quick of the Bank of New Zealand, accompanied by Mr Brookfield, bank manager at Hamilton, and Mr Von Sturmer, manager of the Te Awamutu branch of the Bank of New Zealand, paid a visit to Te Kuiti. on Monday last.
