FOOTBALL.

With the approach of winter the football lovers in each district arc gathering their forces, and several good teams are spoken of in Te Kuiti district. A strongly supported movement is on foot to form a Rugby Union, and have delegates appointed from each Club. The Te Kuiti Club meeting is held this Thursday evening, and Piopio Club meeting on Saturday. An endeavour is to be made to have the Oparure Club meeting held also on Saturday, and representatives from each Club to meet at Te Kuiti on Wednesday evening next, and discuss the formation of a Rugby Union.
