HANGATIKI.

On Tuesday last Mr Berriman, one of the earliest arrivals in the King Country, "left here and has gone to settle on his new farm which he recently purchased at Pukekohe. Both he and his family are well known and much respected, and the wide spread kindness which they have shown to all is to highly commended. Mr Berriman had charge of the Postoffice at Waitomo and deserves freat praise for the obliging wr.y m which he conducted it. AH those to whom he rendered a kindness (and they are many) deeply regret that he is moving to pastures new. Bad colds seem to be the order of the day and quite a number of children are suffering with them.
