TOWN BOARD FOR TE KUITI.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —In view of the projected opening of the remaining township sections at Te Kuiti, it may not be amiss to draw attention to the fact that the formation of a Town Board will be a necessity, if anything is going to be done towards making the majority of the sections, on the western side of the railway, accessible. At present the roads to the sections only exist on the plan, and, as there is a great deal of swamp, or wet land, in the area to be dealt with, a considerable amount of work will require to be undertaken before owners of sections can make use of them. Residents will not object to contribute substantially towards improving the township, once the necessary machinery is provided, and it is to be hoped they will show sufficient enterprize to move in the matter. —I am, etc., WOULD-BE RATEPAYER.
