MATIERE.
The building of the Mangapapa school has been somewhat delayed owing to a shortage of timber. However, a supply has now arrived and the building should shortly be completed. A portion of the timber lying at Matiere waiting to be rafted down the Ohura, has been lost through one of the rafts breaking away.
