K.C. PERSONALS.

Mr Morse, who had charge of much of the Railway construction work on the Main Trunk Line, and who is now inspector on the North Auckland line, paid a visit to Te Kuiti last week, and afterwards left for a trip to via the Wanganui river.

Mr Mossman, District High School Teacher at Marton, has Jbeen spending a holiday in the King Country, visiting his son at Ohura. Mr J. H. M. Carpenter, of Auckland, is on a visit to the King Country this week, and proceeded to Mairoa, where his son, !Mr R. B. Carpenter, has a section.

Mr W. B. Leyland, of Auckland, passed through the King Country on Monday last, on his return from the motor reliability test from Auckland to Wellington. Mr Leyland, who was driving a 15 h.p. Darracq, did a smart journey from New Plymouth to Te Kuiti, the trip, including stoppages, taking just nine hours. Mr J. D. Louch, Engineer in charge of the railway construction works, returned to Raurimu on Friday, much benefited by his holiday. Mr Tooman, of Waitomo, returned to the district with his bride during Christmas week, and Mr Kirk, accompanied by Mrs Kirk, returned from their honeymoon trip a few days later.
