0 Matters in connection with the extension of the mail service to Ngapaenga Road and Mangaohae are now in a fair way towards completion. Official notice has been received from - Mr Cumming, Chief Postmaster, at Auckland, that he has received authority to establish a mail service as from January Ist next, between Te Kuiti, Mairoa, Ngapaenga Road and Mangaohae, and to open an office at Messrs Thorns Bros., Mangaohae.
