Labor Trouble.

Vienna, April 22 Hungarian railway strike extended to Croatia and Transylvania, and all traffic in the direc- * tion of the Balkans, Turkey and Switzerland has been stopped. The loss to the State is estimated at 4,000,000 kroner per day. The law courts are paralysed, Theatricals, concerts and weddings have been postponed, and racehorses worth half a million left entrained in the open. (Austro-Hungarian kroner is worth about B|d). The Hungarian Premier caused the arrest of 1000 strikers. He offered to grant general amnesty if work was resumed, and also agreed to the formation of a railway trade union. Business is paralysed through the strike, and all traffic in the direction of the Balkans, Turkey and Switzerland has been stopped. Later. Hungarian railway strike collapsed, men accepted Government terms.
