Lord Wolseley is a beautiful black ; 12 years old ; stands 16 hands 2 inches high ; has great substance, great bone, good action, quiet temper; a real fast trotter —for roadsters or carriage horses he cannot be beaten. Lord Wolseley was bred by W. Crossan, Esq., of the Taieri, the owner of the famous trotting horses Wanderoo, Beaconsfield, Reformer, and a host of others well known in Otago. Lord Wolseley has never performed in public, as he has been used exclusively as a stud horse. Therefore it is with the utmost confidence that his owner places him at the disposal of breeders of high-class Trotters, Roadsters, and Carriage Horses in this District.
