The Archbishop’s Utterances

AROUSE PROTESTANT INDIGNATION. SYDNEY, Sept 24 Tremendous meetings of Protestants were held here and in other centres of Colony last night. Resolutions passed condemning Governor for attending dedication services and also protesting against Archbishop Redwood’s remarks. One speaker referred to the Stoke Orphanage as example of work to be done in Catholic circles, without attacking Protestants. The newspapers say a deep wound has been inflicied on the harmony of the creeds by Archbishop Redwood’* injudicious, indefensible, and libellous statements.
