0. WHITEHOUSE General Storekeeper, Is now prepared to show his First Shipments of Complete Ranges of all Classes of Novelties FOR THE Summer Season. f The Stock is splendidly assorted in all the latest ideas of i FASHION, and we are confident that we I have never before STARTED A SEASON With such an ATTRACTIVE STOCK. C. WHITEhOUSE. THE ESPLANADE. IT. Jl. J ' Auctioneer, Stock, Station and Commission Agent, Grain and Seed Merchant, CHEVIOT. I RESPECTFULLY desire to draw the attention of the Runholders and Sheepfarmers of Kaikoura and surroundI ing District to the spiendid market which exists on Cheviot lor •.■stock of all de criptions, and at all seasons ot the year. Practically the whole of ttie surplus sheep raised on Cheviot are sent direct to toe ireezing works at Bel fas or Islington. In lact the Cheviot farmers are always large buyers in other markets of sheep tor fattening purposes, and it is obvious that Cheviot is the natural market tor tne Kaikoura surplus stock. The only difficulty is the Waiau river; but, pending the election oi the bridge, for which plans have been prepared and tenders will no doubt shortly be called for its completion, arrangements can always be made for carting sheep across in wagon, at Parnassus at very low rates, and some thousands of sheep have been crossed in this manner during the past season. AUCTION SALES Are held in my Yards, Mackenzie, every fortnight during the busy season, and 1 have ample paddocking accommodation always available at the lowest possible scale of chargee. I trust, therefore, that the Sheeptarmers of Kaikoura District may see the advantage ot sending consignments this forthcoming season to test our maiket here, and 1 can assure them that no efforts will be wauling on my p.it to obtain most satisiactuiy results, with prompt returns, for any stock pia.eu in my bauds tor sale. I would point out that should tock f'ai. to reach Owners’ ideas ot value her. this is the shortest and most direct route to the Southern markets. W. T. rtOBihiSQN Auctioneer, Ac., CHEYIOi.
