The quarterly summoned meeting of the Heart of Oak Lodge was held in the Court House on Tuesday evening, 13th inst. There was a good attendance of members. Bro. C. Haswell was elected unopposed to the office of N G. for the ensuing six months. Bros. Sandos and Jas. Garrett contested the V.G’s. chair, the ballot resulting in the election of Bro. Sandos. As next Lodge meeting falls on New Y’ear’s night it was resolved to alter the night of meeting to Wednesday 2nd January. Prov. G.M. Bro. A. Palmer has notified his intention of being present that evening. A good muster of members is requested to welcome the Prov. G.M. on the occasion of his annual visit. He has also been requested to confer the Purple and Past Officer’s Degrees to those entitled to these degrees. Receipts of evening £52 17s 9d, Expenditure £l6 Bs.
