Smith, teller of Grafton Branch of English, Scottish and Australian Bank arrested on charge of alleged robbery of £lOOO. He states that by mistake he left tray containing money out of safe on Saturday, and on Sunday he recollected it and informed Manager, both went to Bank and found money gone.
Ministry, acting on recommendation of Minister of Justice, remitted sentence passed on Seventh Day Adventists. A number of free men proceeding to shearing shed in Cobar district found the roads blocked by Unionists, who harrassed them and removed lynch pins from drays. Majority of the men eventually reached their destination. Fourteen, however, are missing, and at present it is not known whether they have become converts to Unionism, or been taken prisoners by obstructionists.
