Double Murder and Suicide.
INVERCARGIL Aug 13
Ulautau correspondent of Southland Ne/vs wires that miner named Fredk. Hooker shot at boy named Raynolds and missed him but shot Miss Raynolds, aged 18. Ho broke her arm and shot her father dead, then shot himself dead. Mrs Raynolds was away at the time. Later
Girl Raynolds died in Riverton hospital this afternoon from gunshot wounds inflicted by Hooker. The murderer is said to have boarded with Raynolds, although he had hut of his own. No particulars to baud.
