Reported the Premier is in conflict, with the Governor over Legislative Council appointments. Sir Robert Duff declines to appoint more than three or four out of a dozen suggested, but Dibbs claims right to make appointments, although he has intimated he intends to resign. Rumoured the Premier has cabled Ripon directing his attention to the Governor’s action. Later
Ministry have resigned, and Reid leader of Opposition, lias been summoned. He has undertaken formation of new Cabinet.
