SYDNEY July 4 Spirited bidding at stud sheep sales today.

BRISBANE, July 4 Wool shed on Ayrshire Downs station near Winton burnt. It was set fire to by shearers who refused to sign the agreement. Manager of station attempted to expostulate and called on local men to extinguish the fire. Twenty men responded and were about to take part in extinguishing the fire, but Unionists covered them with firearms and ordered them away at the peril of their lives. Attempt was also made to burn down Oondooroo shed. Fire was extinguished. Telegram from Hughenden states that strikes are declared off.
