MELBOURNE, July 3 Govt has decided to make further reductions in salaries of Ministers and Members, and to abolish annual increments to public officers. Prohibitive duties are to be reduced to revenue producing point. BRISBANE, July 3 Revenue returns for the year have decreased by £102,000, as compared with previous year. Deficiency for past year is £BOOO. HOBART, July 3 Revenue for the half year decreased £14,800.

SYDNEY, July 3 At stud sheep sales bidding was spirited. Average prices : Leicesters, ewes, £2 14s 7d; rams £2 15s Id; hoggets, £3 13s 6d. Murray rams £lO 10s. Romney Marsh ewes £3 6s ; rams £3 5s Bd. Flock rams £2 2s ; lambs £2 3s 2d.
