Bill closing abandoned Taonui branch railway of line, near Palmerston North, read second time. Gaming and Lotteries Act Amendment Bill, Criminial Code Act Amendment Bill, and Printers and Newspapers Registration Amendment Bill read second time in Council.

Sir Patrick Buckley is reported to be dangerously ill of inflamation of the kidneys. Several Members are suffering from influenza, which is very prevalent just now.
