DAIRY FACTORY COMPANY.
The Directors met on Saturday to deal with tenders and other matters. Messrs C. Wood (Chairman), J. Curtain, H. J. Barratt, F. E. Barrett, B. Mackie and E. O. Palmer were present. After a letter from Mr J. A. Parsons had been read, urging that none but local tenders be considered, and suggesting that there were points in which a saving in the cost of the building could be effected. Tenders were opened and dealt with as follows, via : W. Cooke, Kaikoura (a/c) £389 D. Scott & Son, Christchuich 479 J. Buchanan, Kaikoura 490 D. MucLean, Wellington 529 J. Greig, Christchurch 537 J. H. Sanoford, Kaikoura 545 Mallet Bros., Wellington 576 Jas. Russell, Christchurch 597 Various matters in connection with Factory affairs were transacted, and the meeting adjourned.
