The Ministry Obdurate.' A Horrible Death. SYDNEY, May 28 The condemned men, Williams and Montgomery, are, through counsel, appealing to have their case referred to the Privy Council. Appeal should have been made within 14 days of the trial. Cabinet are considering what action can be taken. There is very strong feeling evinced over the approaching execution of the burglars. Matter was brought up in the House, but owing to prisoners appealing to Privy Council action withheld till Executive decided what course to adopt. Mon tgomery displays great, nerve, but Williams is completely unstrung. A woman, writing to the Press, offers herself to be hung instead of the men, if Govt are thirsting for blood.
