SYDNEY, May 14 At mass meeting of bootmakers, resolution was passed condemning masters for locking out men. It was unanimously resolved at meeting of Employer’s Association to adhere to freedom of contract clause. Bootmakers have written to masters declaring the strike off, as non-unionists who were the cause have joined the Union. Private letter from Hamburg states that Australian meat is selling there at 50 per cent below price obtained for
