LONDON, May 5
Calcutta correspondent of Spectator sent an alarming article, predicting another Indian Mutiny. He bases his opinion on fact that natives are smearing trees, and on other fanatical indications. May 6
Spectators correspondent says that mysterious marking on Mango trees in Behai - and North-West provinces is puzzling Govt, coincident with secret distribution of unleavened cakes prior to outbreak of mutiny as in May, 1857.
