At request of Copeland, tbe Premier has written Hindle, who tabled motion of censure on Govt for reinstating Copeland, stating that as tbe motion attack’s Copeland’s personal honour, be will give it precedence if motion is given for Wednesday next. Clarke, arrested on charge of being connected with swindle on National Bank of Australasia, admits he is tbe person wanted. He bad a loaded revolver m his possession. He implicates two cabmen who drove him about, accusing them of relieving him of £450. Both cabmen arrested.
