CAPETOWN, Jan 23 Sir H. Loch has renewed pledges for protection of King Lobengula, and assures latter he will not be deported. Sir Henry is willing to grant fugitive King a home south of Orange River, and British South Africa Chartered Company will pay him pension. Over 1000 miners have been registered in Matabeleland. Prospects are rich. Gold export of Cape Colony for last year was valued at £5,250,000.
