Rifle Club.
The two competitions between members of the Rifle Club, for a rifle, have resulted in favor of Mr W. Adams, who was the highest scorer on both occasions—Bth and loth instants—thus winning right out without any allowance. The scores in the two competitions at 200.300 and 400 yds., 5 shots at each range, with handicap in brackets, were as follows : Ist Match. 2nd Match T‘tl Mr W. Adams 43 (5) 52 (5)—105 Mr H. Warner 41 (3) 44 (3) — 91 Mr R. B. Ryder 41 (5) 39 (s) 90 Mr K. McKay 45 (0? 42 (0) 87 Mr G. H. White 35 (0; 49 (0) 84 Mr F. Parsons 36 <0) 42 (0) — 78 The following fired in the first match : Mr Smait 37, Mr C. Birss 25 and 10 hep., Mr R. Brown 31 and 3, Mr M. Conolly 22 and 10, Mr J. Newman 19 and 3; Mr Urecklls, with an allowance of 10, made made 43 in the second match.
