AT an ORDINARY MEETING held on the 27th AUGHSP, 1877, Ihe following resolution was proposed : Proposed by Cr. Davies, sfeconded by Cr. Byrne, and carried, y Thai the Council do and hereby doth make and levy a general ratfe of one shilling in the pound on tile annual value to let of all rateable! property within the County of Inanphua (as appearing on the valuation! roll now in force for the said County), for carrying into effect the general purposes of the ' Counties A|fc, 1576 ' ' that such rate be for one fear from the 27th day of August', instant ; and that the same be payable in one sum on the Ist October, 1877."
