REEFTON HOSPITAL COMMITTEE.

The adjourned meeting of the members of the Reefton Hospitel Committee waa held at Mr M'Lean's office on Wednesday evening last. Mr Bpennan was voted to the chair. The names of the nswly af_einted Committee were read over. On the motion of Mr Aiken, seconded by Mr Brennan, Mr W. M'Leaa wa^ re-ap-pointed honorary Secretary for the ensuing year. Mr Wise, on the motion of Mr Aiken seconded by Mr Bayfeild, waa re-appointed honorary Treasurer. It was proposed by Mr Bayfeild "That Messrs Kirton and Cutnpt^Jl be apppiote^ Auditors for the incoming year." Seconded by Mr Aiken and carried. The Tender Committee brought np their report, and recommended the aecepfrnce of the following tenders for supp'ies:— ; Milk, Smith Bros.; firewood, P. Rymej coal, R, _ Gulline ; bread, G> Sutherland ; meat, Thos, Cato ; groceries, Shields Bros, In the matter of Mr Qissinge's tender for the supply of drag?, it was resolved t^t the Conimittee ask Mr Oissinge to supply th» Hospital a^t the prices given last year—both tenders to be. compared, and foiling his compliance with this, the Medical Officer to bo requested to, furnish a, list of drags required, and that they be provided, a*^ the best market. The following collectors were appointed:— Block's Point, Messrs Connolly and Ramsay ; Reefton, Messrs Brennan and Williams; Boatman's Messrs Caples and Archer; and the following Mining Managers :— Mr D. Stewart, Energetic ; Mr m% Treonery, Fleece ! Extended Company ; Messrs Watson and, M'Kay, Wealth of Nations ; Mr. Graham, Baii^y Creek;. Mr Luke Mo*rris, Soldier's; Mr Raithby, Crushingtop ; Hest?* Bees and Buncan, Antonio's Flat; M/r Be*rd» Blackwater j Mr R. Craig, for the farmers of tha Inangahua ; Mr Quigley, Italian Chilly ; and Mr T. Gallagher, Cronadun. ' Resolved, that the hon. Secretary write to. the Connty Council, asking them, what subsidy they were likely to give towards. the. maintenance of the Hospital, Proposed by Mr Wise, and seconded hy Mr. Aiken, " That all tickets issued to subscribers, be in force for 12 months from date of issue."
