ENERGETIC
Independently of the number of hands engaged in breaking down stone, a steady course of prospecting ia going on both on the upper and lower levels, A cross-cut drive, 180 feet from the mouth of the low tunnel has recently been started, with the expectation of cutting the Macedonia reef, and as will be seen by the advertising columns, tenders are now invited for extending the upper tunnel 100 feet. Tbis is also a prospecting work. The battery has beea crushing during the past week without interruption.
