From the highly satisfactory statements of the company's affairs, which were submitted to the shareholders, at the ordinary meeting on Monday last, ' there is every roum to congratulate those who are fortunately interested in this mine. There are now eight miles of water-race, in good order, securing a nerer- failing supply of water ; also, a 20-stamper battery, of 7 cwt each, with four bordans, all in fair working order, with the most complete appliances in connection with quartz crushing machinery. The mine ia now excellently opened up, and from stone shown to exist by recent works, nearly two years' supply may be calculated upon from the present levels. The company during the time it has been in operation has paid £21,775 sterling in dividends* Tbese facts, with the past success of fche mine and its future prospects tend to show that the property is tbe very best on thia field.
