[FfiOJf OUR MINING BEPOBTfiS.} ENERGETIC Wednesday, January 2i. The whole of the interior workings of this mine are now in the most complete order, and everything for facilitating the general operations has now been constructed, and with the immense mass of payable stone already proved to exist, there can be other than a highly satis* factory return for many months to come. The workings being now confined to the main level, the full extent of the lode now in course of operation is shown to be 170 feet in length, and will average nearly 10 feet thick. Upon this body of stone there will be at the least from 130 to 140 feet of backs. There being now excellent facility for filling in, and no dead work fo be done further than a few hands to prospect, the working expenses musi be con* siderably reduced comparatively to. last year, and with machinery and all other outside appliances in excellent order, good dividends during the present year will, doubtless, he declared, A delay has this week occurred at the machine*house, oaused by one of the rivets in the bottom of the boiler being blown out. The bat* tery was stopped for about 24 hours, and was started this morning.
