WHO WILL BRING THEM TO ACCOUNT?
It is reported that the old age pensioner charged with planting gelignite, and reported to have placed and then “discovered” it, was verging on collapse when brought before the magistrate yesterday. It is pertinent to ask who will bring the plotters to account seeing that “ authority ” function chiefly in the interests of the owning class. If those interested in breaking the strike concocted 'the plot it is almost certain that they would not have the courage to carry it out personally. It is equally certain that if members of tlie Employers’ Federation are involved economic and other influence would be brought to bear to prevent those directing the investigations from letting the facts leak out and “ authority ” is seldom on the side of the workers.
