TRYING IT ON.

A carpenter living in Newton, Auckland, received the following notice from his landlord: K n 1 Sir, —

Take notice that I require you to lein emy house, No. , Street, on Monday, 17th November, 1913, and if you do not leave on that date your rent will be at the rate of one pound ten shippings per week after the above date.”

We hope that all receiving such notices will hand particulars to the Strike Committee, and in the meantime pay NO rent, refuse to budge, and treat intruders, including agents and landlords, with the personal attentions such gentry deserve.
