The I.W.W. advocates a form of organisation that shall finally overthrow the Capitalist system w ith its inhuman cruelties; and institute a new society based on production for use, and use only. The competitive and wages systems must give place to a commonwealth where each shall have according to his needs.
Ihe f.\V .W is not the result ol any one man’s scheming, or the scheming of any se t of men, Present conditions demand such an organisation. Industrial development lias provided the cause. The I.W.W is the inevitable result.
As well try to stem the incoming tide as to staunch the liberty-aspir-ing blood of the workers. The I.W.W. has the spirit of the Proletaire, the spirit That feeds and grows on repression, and will, final! v, utterly negate all those forces which have hitherto subjected the workers to wnrse hells than Dante ever dreamed of.
