Several encouraging letters have been received commenting on our first issue, and support has been offered from unexpected quarters. We would remind correspondents and intending contributors that communications relating to circulation of paper, finance, etc., should be addressed to the Business Manager, and anything relating to policy of paper or intended for publication. to the Editor.
There is no occasion to go about shouting for “ the Gallows,” or to make any special effort to convince the Working Class that we are willing to “ fight and die” for some new unify scheme. If any one, or any set, have conceived the notion that they were horn to lead the Working Class, then that one, or set. had better keep away from the gallows, or the poor, helpless Working Class will be bereft of leaders.
Readers will note that, apart from carrying no ads. for the boss, we have no room for an over-the-teacups column, nor for a sporting o)* society section. We can get plenty of sport out of the movement, and our aim is to give about 20 columns of sound matter each issue.
