DOMAIN AT ,KEREPEEHI MEETING OF SETTLERS DEPUTATION TO MEET COUNCIL A meeting of residents was held in the Kerepeehi Hall to discuss the domain and sports ground. Mr P. G. Pearce presided. Mr Pearce said that Mi* H. Jamieson was instrumental in securing the ground. Mr T. Jordan advised the meeting that he had interviewed Mr E. A. Mahoney, the Hauraki Plains County Council clerk regarding the domain and gave a report on same. Mr D. G. McMillan suggested that the ground be got in order as soon as possible and that now was the opportune time. He suggested that a deputation be formed to meet the Hauraki Plains County Council. A fund totalling £52 3s was in hand for laying out the domain. c. f. Pearce said that as no ground was available for racing that the Kerepeehi Sports and Racing Club arrange a programme to suit the grounds. Mr McMillan suggested that the sports and racing club hold a meeting and then call a general meeting to form an athletic association.
