PRESENTATIONS MADE
ARMED FORCES APPEAL BOARD V MEMBERS ON TRANSFER . 'Presentations from the board members and from the staff of the Paeroa Armed Forces Appeal Board were made to Mr A. Ripley and Mr R. E. Jensen on Wednesday. Mr Ripley has recently been transferred back to the Land and Survey Department and Mr Jensen is on transfer to Palmerston North.
The chairman, Mr Edwin Edwards expressed the thanks of the board members for the service rendered by both men and wished them happiness and success in the future.
Mr E. J. Wilton presented each of the guests of honour with a fountain pen, a gift from the board members, endorsing the remarks of the chairman.
The members of the staff- presented Mr Ripley with a wallet &nd Mr Jensen with' a tobacco pouch'
