APPEALS HEARD
ARMED FORCES BOARD SITTING HELD IN PAEROA A sitting of the Armed Forces Appeal Board was held in Paeroa on Thursday, the chairman, Mr Edwin Edwards presiding. Associated with him were Messrs E. Wilton, J. J. Poland and the secretary, Mr A. Ripley. The appeal of C. Handley for a mechanic, J. C. Jamieson, was adjourned until July '3l, 1944, on condition that reservist remains in his present employment. A sine die ad journment was granted the appeal of New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd;, for G» | L. R. Niven, a storeman. ! The appeal of W. C. Strong for C. W. Strong, a blacksmith, was adjourned until July 31, 1944, on condi- • tion that reservist remains in his present employment.
