SHAREMILKER’S DEATH
VERDICT AT THE INQUEST POISON TAKEN AT WHAREPOA The adjourned inquest into’ the death of George 'Crawford McLeod, sharemilker, of Wharepoa, who died on the night of Good Friday, was completed at Thames on Tuesday. After evidence had been given Iby Dr. S. L. Haslett, of Paeroa, and Constable W. Cook, the coroner, Mr W. Bongard, returned the verdict that death had resulted from strychnine poisoning in the form of nux vomica, self-administered while deeply depressed through indifferent health.
