EASTER WEDDING

CEREMONY AT KEREPEEHI

GREIG—NICHOLSON BRIDE IN GRACEFUL GOWN A very pretty wedding of interest to the Hauraki Plains took place in St. Peter’s Church, Kerepeehi, on April 8 when Inez Muriel, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs C. W. Nicholson, Kerepeehi, was married to George Miller, only son of Mr and Mrs Greig, of Rotowaro, Huntly. The bride looked very graceful in a white satin frock with fitting bodice and full skirt falling into a train. The front of the frock was trimmed with tiny white satin buttons from neckline to the hem. Her long veil of embroidered tulle was held in place by a coronet of white velvet roses and orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses and pink and white chrysanthemum and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid was Miss Moira Poland, kerepeehi, and she looked very charming in a blush pink anglaise broderie frock with fitting bodice and very full skirt. Her headgear was a small tulle veil held in place by a halo of velvet flowers the same shade as her frock. Her bouquet was pink chrysanthemums and blue lupins and maidenhair fern.

The two little flower girls were Maureen Nicholson, sister of the bride and Eileen Tomlinson, cousin of the bride. They were dressed alike in pretty powder blue frilled frocks of anglaise broderie and carried posies of blue lupins and pink chrysanthemums. Their headdresses were blue tulle veils with halos of blue velvet flowers.

The best man was Mr Alan Stewart of Hamilton. The Rev. Moore officiated and Mrs A. P. Innis was the organist. The reception was held at the Hauraki Hotel, Kerepeehi. The guests were received by the bride’s mother who looked very smart in a navy costume and 2navy and grey hat. Her shoulder spray was pink gerberas and maidenhair fern. She was assisted by Mrs Grieg, the bridegroom’s mother, wearing a navy ensemble and navy hat. Her shoulder spray was pink rosebuds and maidenhair fern. Among the guests were:— Mr J. H. Smith (Paeroa), Mr and Mrs R. Tomlinson (Netherton), Miss McLeod, Mr Speck (Auckland), Mr and Mrs 0. Poland, Miss J. Poland (Auckland), Mr and Mrs R.
