EASTER DANCE

BIG NIGHT AT COROMANDEL MANY VISITORS PRESENT A dance was held in St. George’s Hall, Coromandel, on Easter Saturday night when a very large crowd attended. The Sports and Regatta Association were the sponsors. A large number of visitors and “yachties” were present and many old friendships renewed for another year. The music was supplied by Mrs E. M. Lucas and Lee Perfect and extra foxtrots were played by Paul Dudley and Mr Brown. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mrs D. Stewart and Mr J. Jones. Mr Eric Gamble acted as M.C. and Mr T. M. Lillis as doorkeeper. Dancing ended at midnight.
