PLEASE HELP!

STREET STALL ON FRIDAY TO AID PATRIOTIC FUNDS A street stall to raise funds for the 1944 All Purposes Appeal will be held in Paeroa on Friday next, April 21, by the Paeroa Ladies Croquet Club. Donations of meat, poultry, fruit, garden produce, cakes, preserves, jams, etc., in fact anything which can be sold, will be gladly accepted. Donations may be left at the Paeroa Borough Council Chambers, the Ohinemuri County Council Chambers, the Gazette Office, or at the stall on the day in question. Paeroa this year has been asked to find £1250 to assist in providing comforts for members of the Armed Forces and all are appealed to to not only purchase from the stall but to also assist by making donations of suitable goods.
