ALL SERVICES CLUB POSITION IN PAEROA DECISION OF THE COMMITTEE A decision to close down the Paeroa All Services Club but to continue to use the premises for patriotic activities was reached at Monday "night’s meeting of the Paeroa District Patnote Committee when the executive of that club reported that neither the servicemen nor servicewomen were making use of it to-day. A statement from the club showed that the organisation had a small credit balance and that revenue from card evenings held in it for the general public was nearly double the expenses. It was agreed to continue to use the room for patriotic purposes and the committee at present in charge of fered to continue to run the card evenings, etc. It was also agreed to let the I’oom to outside organisations for meetings etc., and to make it available for the Scouts and Cubs to meet in.
