ANNUAL MEETING IN PAEROA OFFICERS FOR YEAR ELECTED The annual meeting of the 'Paeroa ■branch of the New Zealand Labour Party was held in the Labour Party Rooms, Paeroa, last Monday evening, when a large attendance of members was present. Mr C. C. Webb presided. A lengthy annual report was read and received. The balance sheet which showed a substantial credit balance was adopted. The election of officers for the current year resulted as follows: — Chairman, Mr C. C. Webb; vicechairman, Mr H. Gallagher; secretarytreasurer, Mr F. McQuillan; auditor, Mr R. Greenslade; delegates to L.R.C., Mrs E. Turton and Mr G. Hill. After’ it had been pointed out that there was no maximum on the number of the committee, all present were elected members of the working committee. After some discussion the meeting closed.
