— Eight Punctures Some would-be visitors to the Paeroa races from Auckland left there at eight a.m. on Saturday and reached' Pipiroa at five-thirty that afternoon. They had no less than eight punctures on the way. Paeroa School Sports An interesting programme of events including cup races, relays, hall games and tug-o’-war has been arranged for pupils from Standard 1 to Form VI. of the Paeroa District High School, to take place in the Paeroa Domain on Thursday afternoon. Scholars are already in training as competition amongst them is keen, and many exciting finishes are anticipated. A loud speaker system will keep spectators informed of results as races are run. Here is another opportunity for parents to support their school by creating a record attendance.
