SOCIAL NOTES
W.A.L. Dolly Lennan who is on the nursing staff of the W.A.A.F. is at present on furlough and is staying with her mother, Mrs Lennan, Canal road, Waitakaruru. L.-Bdr. Noeline O’Brien is on furlough from a South Island camp and is staying with her mother, Mrs O’Brien of Mangatarata. Mrs Evitt, of Empire road, Epsome, Auckland, is spending some time on their farm at Waitakaruru. Mrs P. Ensor, of Auckland, was the guest of Mrs Geo. Hunt at Ngatea, last week-end. Mrs B. Turner, of Ngatea, who has been holidaying at Raglan, has returned home. Mrs D. Coldicutt has returned to Ngatea from a visit to Auckland. Mrs W. H. Neale Snr., of East Tamaki, Auckland, is' visiting her daughter-in-law, Mrs F. Neale, Komata. Mrs Pollock, of Kohimaramara, Auckland, is visiting Mrs P, Henry, of Turua. Mrs J. Lyes, of Papakura, is visiting her daughter, Mrs A. H. Sutton, Turua. Mrs Green who has been the guest of Mrs P. Henry, Turua, has 1 returned to her home in 'Gisborne. Mrs P. Murphy of Turua, has returned from holidays in Auckland. Miss P. La’Nauze is spending her holidays with her uncle, the Rev. David, of Turua.
