STATEMENT FOR FEBRUARY 125,002 WILLS NOW HELD Estates to the value of £479,141 were reported and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during the month, of February, 1944. The total value of estates and funds under administration by the Public Trustee on March 31, 1043, was £66,777,793, and the new business for the eleven months ended February 29 was £5,718,808. Grants of administration made by the Court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 270 for the month. During the month 521 new wills appointing the Public Trustee executor were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged for safe custody, and 431 existing wills were revised to provide for charges desired by testators. The total number of wills now held in the Public Truct Office on behalf of living persons is 125,002.
